Atm Installation Ubuntu Installation Question?

Ubuntu installation question? - atm installation

So my computer with Windows XP and its poor state of the ATM is installed, the blue screen of death. I wondered whether I could simply install Ubuntu in the CD? Is this possible? I have to download drivers or something else?

Yes, you can easily install Ubuntu, but Ubuntu, you probably need to reformat the hard disk as a Linux-formatted partition that you delete the contents of the unit.

Ubuntu comes with drivers, the most common generic drugs, making it especially plug and play, such as Windows. Some devices can be very difficult to find, because even though the driver. But the situation is almost at least guaranteed to run out of the box without additional drivers - just some additional equipment such as a fingerprint sensor, can not function, for example.

The blue screen of death can be caused by bad RAM, the Ubuntu live CD, the program memtest86 on it. Let's check it at boot with Ubuntu to memory errors.
